Holland Blinds

Holland blinds, also called roller blinds, are very popular because they are modern, easy to dust off, and easy to operate. Operation of the Holland blinds can be with a chain or the more traditional spring.

Roller blinds can be manufactured with metal powder coated or anodised silver base rails on the bottom of the blind for support. Plain finish is also available for a more traditional look.

The Basic range is very economical, looks good, and is easy to clean and maintain. Made from polyester and acrylic it offers total Blockout and any spills or stains can be easily cleaned with soapy water. These blinds have UV protection and are hard wearing.

Translucent / Light Filtering Holland Blinds

Translucent fabrics allow some degree of light to enter the room, and depending of the fabric they still provide privacy. They are ideal for living areas where total darkness is not required.

Sunscreen Holland Blinds

Sunscreen roller blinds are the modern way to replace lace curtains. During the day they offer privacy while allowing you to look out. These blinds offer UV filtering and protect your furniture and floor coverings from harmful UV rays.

For night-time privacy Sunscreen Holland blinds should be used in conjunction with other window furnishings such as Blockout roller blinds, Roman blinds or Curtains.

Motorised Holland Blinds

We also offer two types of motorisation: Hard wired or Lithium Ion battery operated blinds. Battery operated blind motors have come a long way and usually only need recharging once every 6+ months. Depending on the size of the blind and the frequency of usage, the battery charge can last up to 2+ years. Battery operated blinds are also a great saving on electrician costs and in some cases, it can be retrofitted to existing blinds.

Motorised roller blinds can be operated with a remote control, or with a Hub to which you can also connect your mobile phone and raise or lower your blinds from anywhere.
